Frequently asked questions

How do I start a game?

Tap Create Room on the home screen. A 6-character room code will be generated — share it with your friends so they can join. You're the host, so you can deal cards and control game settings.

How do I join a game?

Tap Join Room and enter the 6-character code from the host. Once you're in, the host can deal cards and begin play.

What is Nearby mode?

Nearby mode lets you play with people on the same Wi-Fi or Bluetooth network without an internet connection. The host's device acts as the game server. Tap Nearby on the home screen to start or join a local game.

I got disconnected — can I rejoin?

Yes. The app will attempt to reconnect automatically. If reconnection fails, go back to the home screen, tap Join Room, and re-enter the same code. Your player slot is held for as long as the room is still active.

Is my game saved if I close the app?

Game rooms exist only in memory on the server and are deleted after all players disconnect or after one hour of inactivity. There is no way to resume a room once it has closed — you will need to start a new game.

How do I play a card face-down?

Long-press a card in your hand to reveal the play options, then choose Play Face Down. Face-down cards are visible to you but appear hidden to other players.

I found a bug — how do I report it?

Email simon@himon.dev with a short description of what happened and what you expected. Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful.
